Pacquiao vs Mayweather is a bout that many boxing enthusiasts desired to watch.  Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather, Jr was such a pleasing bout because Pacquiao is presently pound-for-pound the best fighter in the league. Floyd Mayweather, Jr used to hold that distinction, and has an undefeated record.
Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr have been in a heated up discussion over Olympic Style drug testing.  Mayweather required Pacquiao to give in to these types of blood drug tests, but he was encountered with a great deal opposition. Pacquiao declined and did not back off.

Pacquiao claims that the reason he does not prefer to go through testing is because he does not like to get his blood taken out so close to a bout.  He feels that this weakens him.  Moreover, Mayweather laid down remarks on his web site that indicated that Pacquiao used PED. Well, Pacquiao is suing for defamation in a federal court in Las Vegas.

So, I imagine Pacquiao vs Mayweather will take place, only instead of a boxing ring and gloves the boxers will duke it out in a court with attorneys.

Pacquiao fans, you're in luck. Trainer Freddie Roach claims that Pacquiao will be fighting Joshua Clottey  Previously it was said that Pacquiao would fighting Paulie Malignaggi.  Yet, it appears as if there will most probable be a Manny Pacquiao fight on March 13th after all.

It just likely will not be with Floyd Mayweather, Jr

Welterweight Clottey (35-3) lost a close 2009 fight to Miguel Cotto, who was subsequently defeated by Pacquiao via a 12th-round technical knockout in November. "It'll be a tough fight, not an easy fight, but better than some of the other names that were being thrown around," Roach said. Guess he wants his prize fighter to still fight the some of the best.
